An introductory conversation for those who have a loved one, friend, or neighbor that may have memory loss, confusion, mild cognitive impairment and/or early stages of dementia. You may not be sure exactly why new behaviors or unusual situations are occurring, who to turn to, or where to start if there may be concern. This presentation will cover some initial warning signs and examples, what dementia is, first steps to take, who the stakeholders in care should be, and how you as a caregiver can either rule out dementia or start to plan for a new journey into care.
