We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the anticipated Downers Grove Township Community Mental Health Board.
This volunteer board will play a critical role in identifying local needs and funding services that support mental health, and people living with developmental disabilities and substance use disorder across our community. We’re seeking passionate, thoughtful, and community-minded individuals who are committed to improving access to care and strengthening our local safety net.
Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from residents of Downers Grove Township with strong professional or lived expertise in the areas of mental health, developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorder. Applicants cannot be employed by the Department of Human Services. Additionally, applicants cannot be employees of any organization that will seek funding from the board, nor can they seek funding from the board themselves.
