Going into the Labor Day weekend and with recent rain, the Township will participate in a mosquito spraying of all unincorporated areas on Thursday, August 29th. These sprays occur after 9pm, and utilize environmentally safe insecticides that specifically target the mosquito species. The treatment of unincorporated areas of the Township is triggered by number of annoyance and disease vector mosquitoes found in traps around the Township. This spray is for annoyance biters, NOT disease vector species. Clarke Environmental Services will perform the spray, and will work to coordinate with surrounding municipalities for maximum effectiveness.

As always, we recommend taking steps to minimize bite hazards. Find out more by clicking on the “Fight the Bite” logo on our front page!
