Biography

Rita Carlson was appointed as a Downers Grove Township Trustee in October 2004 and was elected for a full term in April of 2005. She has lived in unincorporated Downers Grove Township, Golfview Hills, since 1968. She was born and raised in Lacrosse, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Rita is married to Chuck and has two sons and three grandchildren. She was the Executive Director of the National Association of Bond Lawyers for 19 years. Currently, she is active with the Golfview Hills Women’s Club and involved with Village Associates, an art group associated with The Art Institute of Chicago.
