Township Petitions Village for Rezoning and Consolidation of Properties
From Supervisor Mark Thoman: “The Village of Downers Grove revised their Zoning Ordinance and created a new INP-1 class of properties that applies to us. In order to bring our location in line with the new zoning classification, we are voluntarily petitioning the Village to consolidate our five contiguous properties and rezone them to a single INP-1, small institutional use. Our properties are the building at 4340 Prince and the four open grassy field lots immediately next to us on our west side of the building, on the east side of Saratoga immediately south of the new Chipotle. Nothing further is planned beyond the consolidation and rezoning.
“On Wednesday October 18th – 7pm to 7:30pm at the Township Offices, 4340 Prince we’ll have a neighborhood meeting to answer any questions about the consolidation and rezoning with any nearby property owners. Plats of survey will be on hand for inspection.”
