The Vintage Times - Hanna Benioff

Many older people worry about the loss of memory as they age. A discussion about memory and memory loss is presented on the Vintage Times, a local cable television program for older adults.

Robin Pecak, of Arden Courts Memory Care Community explains that forgetfulness is a common complaint among older adults. “Everyone forgets things at some time. We may forget the name of a person we just met, where we put our car keys or why we entered a certain room.  Some degree of memory loss is a fairly common part of aging. There’s a difference, however, between normal changes in memory and memory loss associated with Alzheimer’s Disease or other types of dementia.” Ms. Pecak also provides tips on maintaining good memory.
