Youth Community Foundation’s Car Wash & Relay for Life

Downers Grove Township is very proud of their Youth Community Foundation. This past Sunday they held a car wash at the Township’s Office and raised $383.00 for their Relay for Life Team. All donations went to the American Cancer Society!

This is the first time the Downers Grove Township’s Youth Community Foundation is participating in Relay for Life. The YCF’s mission is to advocate positive involvement of high school youth within Downers Grove Township. The Youth Community Foundation provides an opportunity for members to do outreach within the community, build leadership roles, create positive relationships with other teens and promote healthy lifestyles within the community.
